You might look like you’re holding things together on the outside, but inside you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or never quite enough. Maybe you’re tired of always being the strong one. Or maybe there’s a quiet fear that if people saw the real you, they might run away.

You might not call it shame, but you might recognise the weight of it.

I’m Ben, a therapist who works with people navigating anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm. I often find that beneath all of these lies shame. The deep sense of not being good enough, or the pressure to keep proving your worth. When we’ve experienced trauma, that sense can become even more intense. We feel it in how we think, how we relate, and how we carry ourselves through the world.

In therapy, we begin to make sense of those patterns. We explore where they came from, how they’ve shaped you, and what it might feel like to live with more ease and self-trust.

How therapy could help

Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about understanding what helped you survive, and what’s still getting in the way. Together, we’ll work gently with the parts of you that protect, perform, or hide, and make space for the version of you that no longer has to carry everything alone.

You don’t need to have the right words. If you’re feeling unsure or just curious, that’s more than enough to start.

Free introduction call

Your free 30 minute, no obligations, conversation discussing therapy, your goals, and seeing if we could be a good fit for one another.

Assessment session

Your first session. Completing a short assessment, covering risks, goals for therapy, and some information on family and background.

Online individual therapy

Using WhatsApp Video, or Microsoft Teams, this is your therapy session. Tailored to you, and for you. Sessions last 60 minutes.
